What is Our Video Series About?
You may have seen Bob and Charley throughout this year in your favorite trade publication such as Modern Machine Shop. We started featuring them in our ads to kickstart this campaign while we were preparing the video series that is now ready to launch.
In their upcoming videos Bob and Charley will show you how the Hurco WinMax® Control can help you reduce setup time and make more chips! They will discuss and demonstrate several features including probing, and solid model import.
The goal is to show you that no matter what generation you are from our control offers an easy way to program whether that is NC or Conversational. It does both. Bob and Charley have different ways on how they approach things but they both understand how powerful the Hurco control is. A Control For Every Generation!

Bob Eup
Software Support
Bob started working in a machine shop when he was 19 years old. Captivated with the industry and manufacturing, Bob learned everything about being a tool maker. As chance would have it, Bob stumbled upon the Hurco building while out driving and stopped in for a visit. Hurco hired him on the spot.
Bob has worked on and off for Hurco with multiple positions for over 20 years. Today, armed with his extensive knowledge of both mills and lathes, he primarily tests software and travels to Hurco customers’ job shops to help them figure out new and more efficient ways to cut their parts.
Charley McCaw
Tech Support
Charley grew up in Ohio with several family members employed in the machining industry. As a young boy, he always knew he wanted to be a machinist. Starting with learning manual machining in high school, Charley honed his craft to achieve a second place finish in the Skills USA competition in machining. This honor earned him a scholarship to a technical school in Indianapolis, Indiana—where he was then introduced to Hurco and later hired in 2014 as an intern.
Charley now works full time at Hurco and enjoys troubleshooting with engineering and traveling around the world to provide support for our customers and distributors.
